Hisaw Australian Shepherds began in 1974 after we purchased our first
Aussie. In 1984, we purchased our first ASCA registered Aussie and started
showing. In 1986, we bred our first ASCA (Australian Shepherd Club of
America, Inc.) Conformation champion and registered our kennel name.
Since 1986, we have had 4 children, 2 daughters and 2 sons. Our daughters
have been extremely active in the sport with us, while our sons have been
more active in "boy" sports. Our oldest daughter, Regi, was the top Junior in
the country for several years and our younger daughter, Kendra was also very
successful. Both have handled some of the top dogs in the country. Kendra
has been amazingly successful wit h her reining horses, as well, which you
can find at the link above. Since 1986, we have bred over 100 Conformation
champions, as well as Obedience Trial Champions, Agility Trial Champions,
and dogs with numerous agility, herding, and obedience titles. We are
incredibly grateful to the owners of our Hisaw dogs for making us Hall of
Fame Kennel #38.
